Video: Clear Plan
Foggy five-year plan?
Many cities and towns are working to envision what their communities will look like in the future. For those who value placemaking, splash pads are an excellent choice to improve your town.
Since there’s no standing water, no lifeguards or fencing are required. It’s a low-cost, low-liability investment that pays big dividends in residents’ appreciation. Immediately following the ribbon cutting, it will be a destination for families and children.
At the recent dedication for Tipton’s City Pool and Splash Pad, Steven Thompson, Tipton’s director of Parks and Recreation said, “The importance of this place cannot be overstated. I strongly believe that the success or failure of a community can be directly related to the success or failure of its aquatic facilities.”
Simply stated, if a town has well-kept modern parks, pools, and splash pads, it’s a community in which you’d want to live.
